On the Record with Karen Timberlake

Last week, the University of Wisconsin's Population Health Institute released, for the tenth time, county health rankings for Wisconsin. Ozaukee topped the 2013 list, followed by Kewaunee. Menomonie and Milwaukee brought up the rear. But, as the Population Health's director Karen Timberlake told Wisconsin Health News, the report is about more than keeping score. (WHN, 3/29)

Providers show support for integration of health records

Mental health records should be treated the same as physical health records, a lineup of providers said Wednesday during a meeting of the Speaker's Task Force on Mental Health in Neenah. "We have to move away from this silo way of delivering mental health care," testified the Wisconsin Hospital Association's Matthew Stanford. (WHN, 3/28)
