DHS to provide transition status of 63,000 Wisconsinites kicked off BadgerCare next month

Gov. Scott Walker touted his administration's healthcare achievements in response to a letter from Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., about the transition status of the almost 63,000 state residents forced off BadgerCare and onto the federal exchange. Medica and Mayo Clinic Health System to offer accountable care model in northwest Wisconsin

Mayo Clinic Health System and Medica are partnering to provide an accountable care product in four northwestern Wisconsin counties. My Plan by Medica will be available on Medica's private market exchange to fully insured large groups in Barron, Chippewa, Dunn and Eau Claire beginning July 1. Marshfield Clinic announces job cuts

Marisa Cuellar of Gannett Wisconsin Media reports: "Marshfield Clinic announced in an email to employees Thursday plans to cut costs by $22 million through 2015, which will include the elimination of about 80 managerial and administrative positions system wide during the next six weeks."
