NCQA recognizes MetaStar as a PCMH Partner in Quality
MetaStar to help transform practices with PCMH Consulting

Madison, Wisconsin — The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) recently recognized MetaStar as a Partner in Quality, indicating MetaStar supports practices in pursuit of true practice transformation. This recognition is based on clinical standards established to improve the measureable quality of health care provided

Transforming a practice to a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) fosters the integration of the patient as an active participant in their own health and wellbeing. An engaged patient is cared for by a trusted physician who leads the medical team and coordinates all aspects of patient care using evidence-based medicine and appropriate technology. NCQA, among other organizations, believes PCMH provides better quality care, lower costs and an improved care experience for the patient.

MetaStar offers PCMH consulting services to assist physician practices, clinics, hospitals or health care systems with the transformation to a PCMH approach to care. With this new recognition from NCQA, MetaStar can not only help transform a practice but also help practices become PCMH recognized. This designation allows MetaStar to offer those pursing NCQA PCMH recognition a discount on fees.

In addition to the Partner in Quality recognition, MetaStar’s Lanette Hesse and Mike Wall achieved NCQA PCMH Content Expert Certification. Both Hesse and Wall have comprehensive knowledge of the requirements, the application process, and the documentation requirements of NCQA’s PCMH Recognition program and can assist physician practices, clinics, hospitals or health care systems interested in Medical home transformation.
