Network Health expands its provider network

NETWORK HEALTH EXPANDS ITS PROVIDER NETWORK

Network Health adding providers — Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Health Care Network

MENASHA, WI (September 18, 2014– Network Health, the Wisconsin-based health insurance company, will soon offer its 137,000 members  access to more providers, doctors, hospitals and clinics in Wisconsin. Children’s Hospital providers in the Fox Valley will be available to members starting October 1, 2014. Members will also have access to Children’s Hospitals’ providers and services in Milwaukee and at other locations around the state beginning January 1, 2015.

Network Health President Sheila Jenkins said, “It is vital that we continually enhance our provider network with the intent to offer members the very best in quality, service and affordability offered in the state of Wisconsin.”

Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Neenah is the only hospital in the Fox Valley dedicated exclusively to the care of children. It offers direct connections to specialists at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee, ranked the #4 pediatric hospital in the nation by Parents magazine.

“We are pleased that additional families in northeast Wisconsin now have access to the best pediatric care available in our state,” Peggy Troy, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin said. “We are committed to serving the needs of northeast Wisconsin children and their families.”

Effective January 1, 2015, Network Health members will also have access to specialty care through Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) health network’s academic medical center in Milwaukee. Froedtert Hospital is ranked as one of Wisconsin’s top two hospitals by US News & World Report.
