Prevea Health expands to Western Wisconsin, offers healthcare services in Chippewa Valley

Green Bay  – Prevea Health is pleased to announce its high-quality health care services are now available in the Chippewa Valley as it works in partnership with two Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) hospitals – HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

Prevea Health, founded in Green Bay in 1996, has over 400 providers in more than 60 specialty areas practicing at more than 37 clinical locations throughout Northeast Wisconsin. With its growth into Western Wisconsin, Prevea Health now also cares for patients at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Office Building, 2509 County Highway I, on the campus of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital.

This began on July 1, 2015 when the following eight providers from HSHS Medical Group – Family Health Associates joined Prevea Health:  Kristie Gering, MDJill Hasenberg, DOLaura Isaacson, DOPaul Ippel, MDRobert Lea, MDSteven Steinmetz, MDDonald Weinmeister Jr., MD; and Cynthia Eckes, APNP, FNP-BC.

The providers will continue to practice at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Office Building. They offer family medicine services and some specialize in sports medicine, obstetrics, behavioral care and gastroenterology services, such as colonoscopies.
