CMS penalizes more state hospitals for readmission rates in 2015 fiscal year
Forty-seven of 65 eligible Wisconsin hospitals will see a reduction in their Medicare payments as part of a federal health reform law initiative aimed toward reducing the number of patients readmitted within a 30-day period, according to an analysis by Kaiser Health News. (WHN, 10/9)
