HHS awards DHS $9.5 million to expand Children's Hospital program

The Department of Health and Human Services is granting the Department of Health Services a $9.5 million prospective award to test an intervention method designed to expand and strengthen the Special Needs Program model currently implemented at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The model consists of a variety of medical professionals, or a care team, working with children and families who have ongoing medical needs. (WHN, 7/14)
