Report: Medicaid and CHIP enrollment down 1.3 percent

State enrollment in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program has dipped 1.3 percent, from 1,161,876 to 1,146,895, since open enrollment for the federal health reform law began in October. That's according to a new report from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that compares enrollment at the end of February with the state's monthly average from July to September 2013.
