San Diego company buys Madison-based Epicentre Biotechnologies
Illumina, a publicly traded San Diego company that provides life science research tools and services, has bought Epicentre Biotechnologies, a privately owned Madison company that makes specialty enzymes and reagents for use in research and drug discovery, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. Terms of the acquisition were not immediately disclosed. (WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL, 1/13)
