Budget provision allows WHEFA to finance out-of-state

Wisconsin health care, educational and nonprofit organizations wanting to build out-of-state could soon have some additional financing options. A provision in Gov. Scott Walker’s budget proposal authorizes the Wisconsin Health and Education Facilities Authority to issue a bond for a project located outside the state if that project includes a substantial component located in Wisconsin.
