And I’m sure you’ve also heard the cost of that drug, which is nothing more than a form of progesterone, is about to skyrocket from $10 to $20 a dose to $1,500 a dose thanks to St. Louis-based KV Pharmaceutical getting a seven-year patent to sell the drug exclusively under the brand name Makena.
