Bobby Peterson won’t stop fighting for health rights of little guy

Bobby Peterson says people tend to underestimate him, maybe because his blunt speech, thrift-shop jackets and working class background don’t conform to most people’s assumptions about lawyers. “My only blue blood credentials are that I’m a distant relative of Miles Standish,” he says. The Capital Times met with Peterson the morning after Republican senators, in a surprise vote, approved the governor’s controversial collective bargaining measure, which also clears the way for what are expected to be massive cuts and changes to the state’s Medicaid programs.
