Nickel: State needs more info to meet EHB deadline
The state needs more information from the Department of Health and Human Services before it can determine what minimum insurance benefits Wisconsinites will be entitled to in 2014 under the federal health reform law, Insurance Commissioner Ted Nickel said in a letter Friday addressed to Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. HHS had asked states to select their benchmark plan for essential health benefits by Sept. 30. (WHN, 10/1)
