Return on hospital assessment remains stable at $257.5 million
The state's hospital assessment contributed $257.5 million toward total reimbursement for Medicaid services last year, according to a recent Department of Health Services report. This rate has remained more or less constant since 2011, according to Brian Potter, senior vice president of finance and operations at the Wisconsin Hospital Association. (WHN, 4/16)
