State paid Gruber $200,000 for ACA report

The state paid MIT economist Jonathan Gruber, who recently came under fire for comments he made a year ago about the federal health reform law, $200,000 for his work on a report outlining how the law could impact Wisconsin, Department of Health Services spokeswoman Stephanie Smiley confirmed to Wisconsin Health News. Gruber, among other things, said that a lack of transparency helped it pass. (WHN, 11/25)
