VA finds doctors acted ‘appropriately’ in probe of veteran’s death

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs's chief watchdog was unable to substantiate claims that a 74-year-old patient who died after two strokes received inadequate care at the Tomah VA Medical Center, issuing a report Thursday saying doctors acted "appropriately." (WHN, 6/19)
