Order allows pharmacists to provide naloxone without prescription

Wisconsin pharmacists can offer an antidote that counteracts the effects of a heroin or painkiller overdose without a prescription if their pharmacies sign onto a statewide standing order approved by the Department of Health Services Friday. (WHN, 8/29)
