DOJ: Producing CBD oil through industrial hemp program “lawful”

Producing an oil derived from hemp and that some use to treat seizures in children is legal in Wisconsin as long as farmers are participating in a state pilot program to grow the crop, according to a Department of Justice statement released Thursday.
