The Wisconsin Hospital Association and Wisconsin Technology Council are forming a new membership-based group aimed at promoting the state’s high quality healthcare and connecting its emerging tech sector with providers.
The Wisconsin Healthcare Business Forum will serve a networking role, similar to a chamber of commerce, Tech Council President Tom Still said in an email to Wisconsin Health News.
“However, unlike some chambers, this will also seek to balance interests that must be addressed from different angles and perspectives,” he said.
WHA CEO Eric Borgerding said the forum will bring the creators of healthcare technology together with the users of that technology.
“Connecting the so-called disruptors with the disrupted,” he said.
