Evers calls special session on police accountability, racial disparities

Gov. Tony Evers on Monday called a special session next week for the Legislature to take up a series of bills that target police accountability and that his administration previously said would help move the state toward equity, including a bill that would provide $1 million in grants for violence interruption programs that connect individuals to community supports.
