New SimplyOne health plan offers cost savings and extra member benefits
MARSHFIELD – Security Health Plan is offering a new health plan for 2021 that brings real cost savings and new benefits to members of large employer and self-purchased health insurance plans.
SimplyOne highlights the powerful partnership between Marshfield Clinic Health System and Security Health Plan. It gives members access to Marshfield Clinic Health System as the primary health care provider. Marshfield Clinic provides access to more than 80 specialties, 8 hospitals, including the region’s only children hospital and more than 60 clinic locations. Other in-network providers include DaVita Dialysis, Allied Chiropractic, behavioral health providers and facilities and Northwood DME.
SimplyOne members will have 100% coverage for unlimited Care My Way® visits and a $30 quarterly credit for over-the-counter items and supplies. Additional perks are available with this plan that aren’t available on any other plan, including:
- 30% off select eye wear from Marshfield Clinic Health System locations
- Lower copays for prescriptions filled at a Marshfield Clinic Health System pharmacy
- Access to the Patient Navigator Program for help scheduling appointments, answering questions about bills and health plan coverage, requesting medical records, and more
In addition, employers may choose to supplement their employees’ coverage with no-cost primary care services at Marshfield Clinic Health System. Members with this add-on benefit will have 100% coverage for minor acute care visits, office outpatient visits and basic lab services in addition to preventive care.
SimplyOne is available in the following counties for fully insured and self-funded employers: Adams, Clark, Iron, Juneau, Marathon, Lincoln, Oneida, Portage, Price, Taylor, Vilas, Waupaca, Waushara, and Wood. Individual and family health insurance plan members in the following counties will be able to choose SimplyOne during their open enrollment period for coverage to start January 1, 2021: Marathon, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida, Portage, Taylor, Vilas, and Wood.
