DHS: 3,107 new COVID-19 cases, 28 more deaths

State health officials reported 3,107 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, for a total 158,578.

There were 28 more deaths, for a total 1,536.

An additional 14,542 people were tested, for a total 1,726,967.

The seven-day average for daily new COVID-19 patients is 2,840.

The seven-day percent positivity rate by person was 20.3 percent as of Tuesday, and the seven-day percent positivity rate by test was 10.4 percent.
