Wisconsin saw a record number of daily new deaths from COVID-19 on Tuesday.
There were 92 deaths, bringing the state’s death toll to 2,741.
A record 2,277 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, up three from Monday and 207 from the same point last week.
According to the Wisconsin Hospital Association, there were 431 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units, down 25 from Monday and up 13 from last week.
An additional 7,090 COVID-19 cases were reported, for a total of 323,848.
The Department of Health Services said 72,344 cases are active.
So far, 2,348,629 people have been tested, an increase of 22,743 from Monday.
The seven-day average for new daily cases is 6,429. The seven-day average for new daily deaths is 49.
As of Monday, the seven-day average positivity rate by person was 35.4 percent, and the seven-day average positivity rate by test was 17.3 percent.
There were 23 patients at the surge facility in West Allis on Tuesday morning.
