DHS: 2,534 new COVID-19 cases, six more deaths

The Department of Health Services reported 2,534 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, for a total of 387,235.

There were six more deaths, for a total of 3,313.

DHS considers 68,774 cases active.

So far, 2,537,231 people have been tested. That was 8,740 more than on Sunday.

The seven-day average for daily new cases is 4,209. The seven-day average for daily new deaths is 43.

As of Sunday, the seven-day average positivity rate by person was 28.7 percent, while the seven-day average positivity rate by test was 12.3 percent.

There were six patients at the surge facility in West Allis as of Monday morning.
