Wisconsin’s COVID-19 death toll surpassed 4,000 over the weekend.
As of Sunday, there were 4,056 COVID-19 deaths in the state.
Fifty deaths were reported Saturday, when the state surpassed the 4,000-death milestone, and 15 more on Sunday.
The seven-day average for new daily deaths was 48 on Sunday, down from 59 a week ago.
The Department of Health Services reported 4,059 COVID-19 cases on Saturday and 2,757 on Sunday, for a total of 436,773.
The seven-day average for daily new cases on Sunday was 3,513, down from 3,925 reported a week ago.
So far, 2,687,539 Wisconsinites have been tested for COVID-19. The Department of Health Services considers 45,987 cases active.
As of Saturday, the seven-day average positivity rate by person was 27.8 percent, down from 31.1 percent a week ago. The seven-day average positivity rate by test was 10.9 percent, down from 13 percent.
There were seven patients at the surge facility in West Allis on Sunday morning.
COVID-19 patients in Wisconsin hospitals ticked up to 1,425, an increase of 41 from Saturday and down 77 from last week.
There were 318 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units, down four from Saturday and down seven from last week, per the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
