Nearly 75,000 Wisconsinites have completed their COVID-19 vaccination series, according to state data released Wednesday.
As of Tuesday, vaccinators administered 389,240 doses in Wisconsin, with 74,629 being second doses.
The Department of Health Services reported 1,328 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, for a total of 536,546.
Thirty-four more deaths brought the state’s death toll to 5,787.
An additional 6,553 Wisconsinites were tested, for a total of 3,023,506.
DHS considers 20,577 cases active.
The seven-day average for daily new cases is 1,517, down 28 from Tuesday and 290 from a week ago.
The seven-day average for daily new deaths is 32, down two from Tuesday and 13 from a week ago.
As of Tuesday, the seven-day positivity rate by person was 19.3 percent, down 0.8 percentage points from Monday and 3.8 percentage points from a week ago.
The rate by test was 5.9 percent, down 0.2 percentage points from Monday and 1.1 percentage points from last week.
One patient was receiving outpatient Bamlanivimab infusion therapy at the surge facility in West Allis.
