Per state data, 43.1 percent of the state’s population, or 2,508,944 Wisconsinites, have received at least one dose of a vaccine, and 33.8. percent, or 1,965,655 Wisconsinites, have completed their vaccination series.
Wisconsin vaccinators administered 4,416,834 doses of COVID-19 vaccine through Thursday.
They gave 39,529 doses on Thursday, with a seven-day average of 36,399 daily shots.
The Department of Health Services reported 789 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, for a total of 598,147.
The state’s death toll is at 6,823, after DHS reported eight new deaths.
An additional 4,482 Wisconsinites have been tested for COVID-19, for a total of 3,444,683.
DHS considers 9,079 cases active.
The seven-day average for daily new cases is 622, down one from Thursday and 31 from a week ago.
The seven-day average for daily new deaths is 12, down one from Thursday and up seven from a week ago.
As of Thursday, the seven-day positivity rate by test was 3.2 percent, the same as Wednesday and a week earlier, per preliminary data from DHS.
