Baldwin prioritizes ‘immediate fix’ to Medicaid coverage gap in spending plan

Democratic congressional lawmakers are considering expanding Affordable Care Act subsidies and other changes as a way to immediately close the Medicaid coverage gap in states that didn’t expand the program, Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., said Tuesday.
