Illinois insurance regulators fine Quartz $500,000 for violating mental health parity laws

Illinois’ insurance regulatory agency has fined Quartz $500,000 for violating federal and state parity laws that require health plans to have the same levels of coverage for mental health and substance use disorder that they have for medical and surgical care.
