Milwaukee County Board moves to eliminate medical debt, offer premium assistance
The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors last week approved a proposal to use COVID-19 relief funds to wipe out around $153 million in residents’ medical debt and create a premium assistance program for some who will soon transition off of Medicaid.
