Ministry Medical Group clinic on Schofield Ave accepting new patients
Wausau, Wis. – A new Ministry Medical Group clinic opened on Monday, April 11 at 1699 Schofield Avenue in Schofield. The clinic is at the intersection of Schofield Avenue and U.S. Business Highway 51, in the Metro Center strip mall. Parking is located right outside the clinic.
Dr. Olga Barchugova and Dr. Helen Luce are seeing patients at the Schofield clinic. The new location will offer primary care with laboratory services, as well as behavioral health, a nurse case manager, and employer solutions services. Same day appointments at the Schofield clinic will often be available, and may be made by calling 715.847.6600.
The new neighborhood clinic is open Mondays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Renovations of the clinic location began last year, and the new clinic has 6,600 square feet, with 11 exam rooms. It is supported by 8 associates.
“Regularly visiting a primary care provider is important. People who have an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider have better health and lower health-related expenses than people who don’t have a primary care provider,” explained Jen Rhea, Director of Primary and Specialty Care with Ministry Medical Group. “To get connected with a new doctor at our Schofield clinic, call 715.847.6600.”
Current and new patients are welcome to visit the clinic for full primary care services such as annual physicals and screenings, as well as treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions. If people have questions about the new clinic, they can call 715.847.6600 or go towww.ministryhealth.org/schofield for more information.
