(Mosinee, WI)- For residents of Mosinee and central Wisconsin, a unique partnership has created expanded healthcare services for the community.
For several years, Ascension Medical Group has been providing on and near site health and wellness services to employees of Crystal Finishing Systems at its Schofield location.
That relationship recently expanded to include the establishment of a new multifaceted healthcare facility for employees and the community at Crystal’s Mosinee manufacturing location in the Central Wisconsin Business Park, located at 880 South View Drive.
Ascension Medical Group at Mosinee, located on the first floor, provides primary care, onsite X-ray and lab testing, physical and occupational therapy and occupational medicine and industrial rehabilitation services.
“This facility is an exciting project that represents a commitment to deliver compassionate, personalized care to area employees, their families and the community,” said Sue Sanicola, Vice President Administrative, Primary Care, Ascension Medical Group, Wisconsin.
Integrated Pain Solutions, a clinic specializing in the treatment of chronic pain, is also part of the project and has opened their third Wisconsin location on the facility’s second floor. “Opening a clinic in Mosinee is the perfect location,” said Dr. Curt Draeger, DC, DACBOH, CCST, founder of Integrated Pain Solutions. “It enables us to bring our progressive therapies not only to the local community, but now patients from all across central Wisconsin will have easy access to our care.”
Ascension Medical Group at Mosinee features same-day primary care appointments provided by Nurse Practitioners Carolyn Hedrington, APNP and Michele Rocke, APNP.
“This location is unique because of the blended offerings of primary care and occupational medicine designed to strengthen healthcare service access,” said Patti Groholski, Executive Director, Ascension Medical Group Employer Solutions. “We are striving to improve both workplace and community health together.”
Integrated Pain Solutions utilizes FDA-cleared High Intensity Laser Therapy, combined with other treatments, to provide a new approach to treating chronic pain. Dr. Draeger will be joined in practice by Dr. Ben Wyant, DC and soon by his son, Dr. Grant Draeger, DC. Crystal Finishing Systems and Integrated Pain Solutions are also partners in developing and manufacturing the next generation of therapeutic lasers and this new location will provide a seamless environment for patient care and development.
Leaders from all three organizations joined with Mosinee Chamber members and community guests to celebrate the opening with a ribbon cutting and blessing on Wednesday, January 24.
“We are delighted to serve as the catalyst to bring this facility to the Mosinee community,” said Mark Matthiae, Founder and President, Crystal Finishing Systems.
