Two Wisconsinites have died from COVID-19, state officials confirmed Thursday.
The first death was a male in his 50s from Fond du Lac County, according to a statement from Gov. Tony Evers.
The second was a male in his 90s from Ozaukee County.
“Our hearts go out to all the loved ones affected by these deaths, and to all those suffering from this virus,” Evers said in a statement.
There were 155 confirmed cases across 21 counties as of Thursday afternoon, according to the Department of Health Services. There have been 2,192 negative tests.
The agency also identified community spread in Brown County. COVID-19 is also spreading in Dane, Kenosha and Milwaukee counties.
