DHS expects Medicaid changes to impact enrollment for 21,600

New premium and insurance crowd-out provisions implemented in July are expected to decrease enrollment in Badger Care Plus by 21,600 over the course of the next year, according to the Department of Health Services' budget request. That's a jump from the 17,000 enrollment impact predicted by DHS earlier this year when the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services signed off on the program changes. (WHN, 9/25)
