Dr. Frank Byrne plans to spend his first full day of retirement playing with his rock band. The Grooving Needles, made up of Byrne and several Epic employees, has a gig in Madison on Jan. 31. The day before is his final at the helm of St. Mary's Hospital, a position he's held for more than a decade. (WHN, 1/23)
