The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Monday blocked Gov. Tony Evers’ executive order that would have suspended in-person voting for Tuesday’s election and primary.
The court ruled 4-2 to block parts of the order, which would have shifted in-person voting to June.
The court left in place a requirement that the Legislature meet in a special session on Tuesday.
Evers announced his executive order earlier Monday. Republican leaders immediately appealed it.
