House passes budget that extends pandemic-era Medicare policies, cuts medical research funding 

Pandemic-era flexibilities that allowed Medicare recipients to receive telehealth services at home would last until Sept. 30, under a bill that passed the House Tuesday to avert a federal government shutdown.
