Kapanke, Shilling meet with local health officials

Republican Sen. Dan Kapanke sat at one table and Democratic Rep. Jennifer Shilling another. The two La Crosse politicians, who were in the same room for the first time publically since Shilling announced last week she'd challenge Kapanke in a likely recall election, weren't expected to interact much - and they didn't Friday at a meeting of the Western Wisconsin Joint Public Health Legislative Group in West Salem.
