DHS: 1,408 more COVID-19 cases, eight more deaths

The Department of Health Services reported 1,408 more COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin on Wednesday, bringing the total to 92,712.

Eight more deaths brought the total to 1,228.

According to DHS, an additional 12,196 people were tested. The positivity rate was 11.5 percent.

So far, 1,388,025 people have been tested for COVID-19 in the state.

The seven-day average positivity rate is 14.1 percent. The seven-day average for new cases reported each day is 1,340.
