The Rehabilitation Hospital of Western Wisconsin, a joint effort between Alabama-based Encompass Health and Hospital Sisters Health System Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, will close on April 2, according to a recent notice filed with the state.

Dental therapy bill heads to Evers
Legislators on Tuesday sent a bill to Gov. Tony Evers that would allow for the licensure of dental therapists in Wisconsin, following a yearslong push to establish the profession. They also signed off on several other health-related proposals.
