From moving to cap certain types of research-related costs to layoffs and grant cancellations, the changes at the world’s largest public funder of biomedical research have led to court challenges and could have wide-ranging implications.

A virtual panel will take a deep dive into the state of medical research in Wisconsin, what recent federal changes could mean and the industry’s future.

Panelists:

  • Johannes Britz, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Universities of Wisconsin
  • Karyn Frick, Psychology Professor, UW-Milwaukee
  • Dr. John Raymond, CEO and President, Medical College of Wisconsin
