Milwaukee pharmacy software start-up get WEDC backing

More than 90 percent of the drugs administered intravenously at hospitals are shipped in dry or liquid form and then customized for patients at a hospital pharmacy or at an outside pharmacy that specializes in what is known as compounding. ConsortiEX, a start-up company that plans to set up shop in Milwaukee, sees an opportunity in this niche. (JOURNAL SENTINEL, 10/10)
