San Diego company buys Madison-based Epicentre Biotechnologies

Illumina, a publicly traded San Diego company that provides life science research tools and services, has bought Epicentre Biotechnologies, a privately owned Madison company that makes specialty enzymes and reagents for use in research and drug discovery, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
