Brideau leaving Columbia St. Mary’s, Mark Taylor named CEO

Leo Brideau, who has led Columbia St. Mary’s Health System since August 2001, is moving on to a senior position with its parent company Ascension Health. Mark Taylor will become CEO and president February 15, 2011. Taylor is coming from Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, Mich., where he has been president and CEO since 2007. Before that he was President and CEO at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, which is also a member of Ascension. (WHN, 1/17)
