La Crosse-Eau Claire area makes national list for hospital care
The La Crosse-Eau Claire area was ranked No. 24 in the country for hospital care in a study released today, the La Crosse Tribune reports. The La Crosse-Eau Claire area was Wisconsin’s top region in the rankings. The La Crosse and Eau Claire areas were considered together in the study done by HealthGrades, an independent health care ratings organization. It is the first-ever list of America’s top 50 cities for hospital care. Milwaukee was ranked 25th and was the only other Wisconsin city to make the list. (LA CROSSE TRIBUNE, 1/26)
