Plan for new clinic on former dairy site hits bumps in road

A $25.2 million redevelopment of a prominent and long-blighted site is stalled before the city’s Urban Design Commission, largely over a parking lot demanded by the main tenants of the project for safety reasons…Ghidorzi is proposing to demolish the former Bancroft Dairy, unused for a decade, and eight residential properties to build a four-story, 76,800-square-foot building that will be home to a new Wingra Clinic and medical offices, a parking garage and a parking lot on a roughly one-acre, triangular-shaped parcel bounded by Fish Hatchery Road, South Park Street and Midland Street.
