State bill would decrease training for school nurses, staff giving meds

Local school officials are concerned about a state bill that would decrease training requirements for school nurses and for school staff who give students medication. The state Senate will vote on the bill today. It is expected to pass and move on to the Assembly, according to legislators’ staffers. (RACINE JOURNAL TIMES, 10/25)
