Thompson takes board position with pharmaceutical company
Former governor Tommy Thompson, running for the U.S. Senate, has accepted a position as chairman of the board of directors for TherapeuticsMD, a specialty pharmaceutical company. In its announcement, Robert G. Finizio, the company's CEO, said the company was pleased to have Thompson on the board because of his background and understanding of the health-care industry. Thompson is a former secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. (JOURNAL SENTINEL, 5/23)
