CMS approves Family Care waiver, says enrollment cap violated terms

A cap on Family Care enrollment that lasted from July 1, 2011 to April 3, 2012 violated the state's waiver, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said Monday. "The State should reimburse the individuals improperly placed on a waiting list for any health care costs incurred while on the waiting list," according to CMS, which also renewed the program through the end of 2014.
