Smith: Original Medicaid waiver proposal "back on the table"

Proposed changes from an earlier Medicaid waiver from the federal health reform law's maintenance of effort requirements that would have caused an estimated 64,000 individuals, including 29,000 children, to leave the program or become ineligible, are "back on the table," Department of Health Services Secretary Dennis Smith told Wisconsin Health News in a recent interview.
